November Playlist 2017

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my November playlist because I don’t really want to miss a monthly playlist, I was really consistent in posting different songs and share them with you. However, this is not a part of my Blogmas post as I am supposed to post at the 15th (9 days away, hooray!!) and it is also the date of my comeback.

Don’t expect Christmas songs yet– as much as I want to add some because I’ve already had Christmas spirit last November.

November Playlist 2017

  • Super Far by LANY

I know, I know. I was so late at the LANY obsession but to be honest, I didn’t really want to listen to his music because I thought he was so overrated. (You guys can read it from my October playlist.) But I really loved this song so hehe peace out!

  • Gorgeous by Taylor Swift

May I just say, this song is one of my favourites in Reputation. I just really love this.

  • New Rules by Dua Lipa

I currently have a huge obsession with Dua Lipa. Deym she’s really good and she’s really beautiful! I mean, she’s pure art. Haha.

  • IDGAF by Dua Lipa

Another one from Dua Lipa! This song is like for the heartbroken girls who have moved on already. Haha.

  • Havana by Camila Cabello

I knew this song because of my classmates. I can’t remember the exact day but it was a really early morning in school that time when she started singing this because she’s got last song syndrome. What’s even funnier is she can’t remember the right lyrics but she continued on singing. Later on, I got to listen to this then I remembered that she was singing this song the whole time. I got hooked.

  • Mama by Jonas Blue, William Singe

A little shoutout to my service mate (school bus friend) for playing this song always in the service. I mean, the year is ending and I have listened to a lot of songs because of you! So thank you.

  • Strip That Down by Liam Payne, Quavo

This is another song that he always play in the service. I don’t really like its message but the beat was so good that it stays on my mind.

Christian Music:

  • Touch The Sky by Hillsong United

One of my classmates was telling that she love this song so much. She won’t stop talking about this and I searched it up. It was really beautiful, no wonder why it was her favourite.

  • Found in You by Vertical Worship

I first heard this song when we had our praise and worship in one of our meetings. I can’t really sing out with them that time because I don’t know the lyrics so I immediately searched it up and there, I really loved it.

  • Supernatural by Hillsong Kids Ultimate

I have another story for this song– I was assigned to talk for the kids and of course, before everything, we always do kids praise. I don’t really know this song yet when we had our assembly and I was dancing in front of the kids, unsure of the dance steps but I’m really glad I managed. Of course it’s because He helped!

And that’s it for my November playlist. Anyway I really feel like I’ve listened to a lot of songs this November– really a fruitful month for music!

Thank you so much for reading. I can’t wait to start Blogmas at the 15th, I’ve been really preparing for Blogmas so I hope you guys would enjoy my content. Expect collabs as well!!! :p

PS. I will catch up to your Blogmas posts as soon as I can and when I have the time. I’ve been really enjoying my break– and follow me on Twitter for updates and chats! (Shameless plug haha.) @jisimpx

October Playlist 2017

Hello everyone!

It’s this kind of post…again! I hope you guys are enjoying my end of the month playlists– I really love doing this kind of posts because it makes me share my interest in music and it helps some of you to discover new songs! Also, I am very consistent of continuing this series. I haven’t missed a month starting January which is a very big achievement for me!

Anyway… Let’s start!

OPM (Original Pinoy Music) Songs:

  • Titibo-Tibo by Moira Dela Torre

Geez, this song is just so good and I’m really liking Moira Dela Torre. Aside from her good voice, I can see that she has a really good personality! No wonder she’s on the limelight now. She deserves it so much!

  • Sundo by Moira Dela Torre

Another song from her that I really like. It’s from a TV series which is “The Good Son”. Moira’s voice suits the song so much!!

  • Mahika by TJ Monterde

I think I heard it once somewhere and I’m so hooked!! I love this song so much and and TJ’s voice is really good too!!!

Christian Songs:

  • Desert Song by Hillsong United

Whenever I hear this song on Spotify, I’m like.. I’m gonna go jump and praise the Lord right now. I am very much inlove with this song! If you still haven’t heard it, then it’s time to go and check it out!!

  • Counting On God by New Life Worship, Ross Parsley, Desperation Band

Ahh I love this SO much!!! And we have a dance steps in this song and last Saturday, I danced it in front of my youth– the first time I didn’t become shy and the first time I got confident while dancing!!! Lol. Haha.

  • Nothing is Impossible by Planetshakers

I love this song so much and I really love the message. This song is always played whenever we have our worship sessions that’s why whenever I hear it on Spotify, it lifts me up!

  • You Are God by Planetshakers

I think I saw a video in Facebook some time ago which is a cover of this song and it’s really amazing!

English Songs:

  • Personal by The Vamps, Maggie Lindemann

It’s a new release from The Vamps. I love the beat so much and Maggie’s voice here also suits Brad and the whole song!

Ah I know this isn’t a new song and it’s not new for you either.. But I was really hooked with this song. I’m not really sure if I should listen to LANY’s music because I thought it was overrated. But I love his songs now and I’m definitely enjoying it!

And that’s it! Sorry these are the only songs I can offer! Anyway thank you so much for reading!! Hope you’re doing good wherever you are!

Let’s chat! What is your most played song at the month of October? What’s your favourite?

September Playlist 2017

Hello everyone!

This is off topic about the week celebration of getting 1000 followers in my blog but I don’t know when to put up this post so I decided to share it with you all today.

I love how consistent I am with this monthly playlist series because I never really get to be consistent in a series. Haha. Anyone else here who’s the same?

Anyway, let’s get started!

September Playlist 2017

  • Talk by Kodaline

So I was just scrolling through Spotify and I was headed to Kodaline’s profile. I don’t really know what to listen to back then so I just clicked shuffle play. This song came up and ahh it’s just so good! Anyone else here who loves Kodaline?

  • If By Chance by Ruth B.

Gah. This song is just insane and definitely would get you into the feels! I love this song very much and if you still don’t know it, go check it out!

  • In My Dreams by Ruth B.

Oop, another one from Ruth B. I’ve been listening to her music these past few weeks and I can say that she’s really amazing. I really love the smoothness of her voice. Anyway, I think that she’s really underrated.

  • Beloved by Jordan Feliz

I absolutely love this song!!! No words. Jordan Feliz makes amazing songs about God. And please, whenever you’re feeling down and worthless, please go have a check on this song. It will definitely touch you!

  • Be The Change by Britt Nicole

This song gives amazing message. I definitely recommend this as well. I’m not really familiar with Britt Nicole but I’m pretty sure she’s amazing. I also love her voice!

  • End Credits by EDEN

If you’ve read my previous playlists, you’ll probably know that I’m really obsessed with this song. I listen to it every night and on repeat. It’s just so beautiful and ahh it will never grow old for me.

  • Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin

We sang it once when we had our evangelization challenge in the youth. I definitely loved the meaning of the song and you know, worship songs are just so beautiful. You can never go wrong with it.

  • Broken Vessels by Hillsong

You might probably be familiar in this song as it’s somehow always used for praise and worship sessions. But just like End Credits, this song never goes old for me. I love this. So much.

  • Torete by Moonstar88

It is a Filipino song and according to same people, was made popular by Love You To The Stars and Back. I’m familiar with this because it’s a really old song but always beautiful when heard or sang.

  • Magbalik by Callalily

Probably one of the best OPM song ever. I also know how to play this in the ukulele and I just get the jam whenever I hear this song.

And that’s it. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you discover new songs in this!

What is your most played song this month? 🙂 Have you heard any of the songs above?

Look What You Made Me Do | Music Video Reaction

Hello everyone, I’m pretty sure all of you have heard Taylor Swift‘s new song, Look What You Made Me Do. So for today, I’ll be reacting into the new music video and please comment down below if you feel the same or if you have something else to share!

Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift

Okay. Alright. The first part was really scary.

Uhm, why’s she a zombie?!

It’s like a scene from Out Of The Woods but she’s scarier now

Honestly, she’d make a good Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead zombie.

Okay, what’s up with the bath tub full of jewelry?

Oh gaaaah I hate snakes!!!! Nooooo!

Alright good thing that was fast.

What’s up with the banging of cars? She looked like Katy!

Pretty cool cage there.

I love cats, but the scene was honestly scary. Good thing it was short. I hate masks!

I miss the old Taylor!

Seeing the You Belong With Me Taylor and the others was so good haha though why’s the scene like that?

I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh. Coz she’s dead.

Taylor talking to another Taylor is hilarious!!!

Okay the message was so deep.

Haha. There are my thoughts about Tay’s new music video. I’ve researched about the issue between her and Kanye West and the Kardashians already. I know, I’m outdated, but it’s weird!!

I personally love Look What You Made Me Do, and I understand Taylor Swift. She’s had enough. She’s savage now. Haha.

What can you say about Look What You Made Me Do? Do you like it? Share your thoughts and opinions below!

August Playlist 2017

Hello everyone, it’s that time of the month again– although it’s a bit late this time. Haha. So hey, welcome to my August playlist!

August has also been rough for me in terms of music. I haven’t been able to search new music and listen to new genres. However, I hope you’ll still like this one!

Anyway, most of the songs will be Christian related because I attended an area conference last 27th and that’s probably one of the good things that has ever happened to me this August.

  • Set a Fire by United Pursuit, Will Reagan

This is probably one of the best songs ever!!! When we were having our praise and worship, I cried and cried and cried because everything just seems so right praising God. Set a Fire definitely let out all of my tears and one of my friends in the community had tongues while this song was playing. It was so memorable.

  • Real Love by Hillsong Young and Free

I so love this song as well. I can’t remember it clearly but when we had our youth camp last summer, I think we sang this one. Then one day, my cousin was playing this song on repeat and I just had to download the whole album in Spotify as well.

  • Pilgrim Days by United Pursuit, Will Reagan

This is another song that I love. I listened to it once and I absolutely loved the lyrics!!!

  • Am I Understood? by Relient K

So the amazing T.R Noble shared this song to me. When I listened to it, it was so amazing. The message and the lyrics are good. Thank you for sharing this song to me when I was so down, T.R! It’s such a great song.

  • Christ is Enough by Dwelling Place

Geez. It’s also another memorable song for me! This is the song where I cried so much as well. I just love this one.

I still have so many Christian songs in my pocket. But I feel like the songs above are the top 5 on my list. Let’s now head on to random songs that I’ve been listening to this August.

  • Middle of the Night by The Vamps

I just really love the beat of the song! And you guys know me, I love The Vamps!

  • Signs of the Times by Harry Styles

I have no words. I love this song.

  • A Smile In Your Heart by Ariel Rivera

This is an OPM song and I really love this. I recommend you to listen to this song!

  • 241 by Janine Teñoso

Another OPM song that is from the movie 100 Tula Para Kay Stella. I made a film review about that and you can check that out here. However, this song is so heartbreaking– brings back the movie feels!!

  • Opening Theme of Game of Thrones

I don’t really know what to put in the title because in Spotify, it’s called Main Titles. But you guys get me if you watch Game of Thrones. AND IF YOU’VE WATCHED SEASON 7 ALREADY COME TALK TO ME. Haha.

What’s your favourite song last August? Do you know any of the songs above?

July Playlist 2017

Woah, so hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! This month has been a down when it comes to music because my Spotify subscription got expired and it took me a while to get premium again. I think I only have 4 downloaded albums in my Spotify now sooooo I can’t really share many songs with you today– but I still have some in my pocket so continue reading. Haha!

July Playlist 2017

  • From The Dining Table by Harry Styles

This is the first song I’ve heard in Harry’s new album, Harry Styles. At first, it reminded me of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, a song in Les Miserables, the resemblance is there butt it’s quite different. I don’t really know but I really like this song.

  • Paper Hearts by The Vamps

Alright, y’all should check out The Vamps’ new album right now IF you still haven’t!! When they released the album (Night & Day), I wasn’t subscribed to Spotify so I went to Youtube and I listened to this. I absolutely LOVED this song. And you guys know me, I love The Vamps.

  • Stay by The Vamps

Another one from The Vamps, eh? But I also love this one. It reminds me of The Vamps way back 2013. Go listen to this!!

  • No Promises by Cheat Codes, Demi Lovato

I love this song, really. But I can’t hear Demi’s voice in the first part. I literally thought it wasn’t Demi so when I saw ‘ft. Demi Lovato’, I was….shookt. Haha.

  • Fresh Eyes by Andy Grammer

Haha. I love this song, it’s so chill. And I didn’t know I’ve been listening to this song for ages already. I just knew the title when I subscribed again to Spotify last week.

  • It’s Gotta Be You by Isaiah

I have no words. I reallyyyyy love this one!

  • Save Myself by Ed Sheeran

Sorry, but I can’t have a playlist without an Ed Sheeran song!

  • Real Love by Hillsong Young And Free

This is real love, this is real love. Absolutely love this praise and worship song! Go listen to this if you still haven’t!

That’s all for today. Stay safe everyone!!

June Playlist 2017

Hello everyone! Let’s get it on with the playlist! I am back at it again with the sharing of songs, ayt? Well, most of the songs here will be Taylor Swift related because her albums are back or now available in Spotify and I am just so happy about it!

  • All You Had To Do Was Stay by Taylor Swift

I honestly love the whole 1989 but I was really into this song. It’s like people who are close to me are leaving so suddenly and I want to sing this to them, that all they had to do was stay.

  • Never Too Far Gone by Jordan Feliz

One of my blogging friends, My Blessing By Grace suggested this song to me and I listened to it immediately, and I was like, oh myyy. The song is so beautiful, you all should listen to this and let me know what you think!

  • Can I Be Him by James Arthur

Another one of my blogging friends, Amelia, suggested this– I listened to it as well and I loved it. So so much. I love James Arthur even before and loved him so much more now.

  • Out Of The Woods by Taylor Swift

Because as I’ve said, I’ve been listening and loving Taylor’s music this month. I also love the music video of this song– it’s just so amazing.

  • Attention by Charlie Puth

If you read my previous playlists, you’ll also know that I’ve been crushing on Charlie and I’ve been loving his music so much!!! So glad he released a new one and I absolutely love the meaning of the song.

  • Perfect Strangers by Jonas Blue, JP Cooper

I recently listened to this song and didn’t know that I’ve been listening to it for ages. Aha I didn’t know that this was the title of the song that’s so present in parties or such. But hey, I really love this song.

  • Middle Of The Night by The Vamps, Martin Jensen

Because you guys know I love The Vamps– and I just had to add this song in my playlist. Though All Night is still my favourite, I still love this one.

  • The Fault In Our Stars by Troye Sivan

I so love this song!!! This is the most played one in my playlist– and earlier this day I just watched (again) the music video of it. I sooo love this song and I badly miss Troye’s channel! Hah. Anyway, I have made a cover of this song but I don’t know if I should post it or nah. But maybe nah, I haven’t mastered it in the ukulele yet and my voice ain’t good. Haha.

  • What Do I Know? by Ed Sheeran

I don’t know, but I feel like I’ve added this song in every playlist that I post eversince Ed released Divide, but I really really love this one. I also covered this song but I failed. Lol.

And maybe that is it! I don’t really want to talk about school in this post but ugh, we made a three pages reflection paper yesterday and gladly, I finished it. But still, it’s so stressing. *sigh*

Anyway, I’ll try to catch up with your posts this Saturday! I swear I really want to and I hope I could do it this weekend!

What’s your favourite song as of the moment and how are you today?
