What I Got For Christmas 2016!

Christmas Gifts are absolutely the best things to receive, especially when it’s wrapped in a very Christmassy cover! It just adds festivity to the season. So for today’s first post (yes there will be two posts today since I did drafts last night), I’d share what I got for Christmas this year!

  • Keds White Leather Shoes. This is perfect for everything! And white shoes are actually a trend in everywhere now. My mum bought me this as an early Christmas present so as you can see in the picture, it’s quite filthy.
  • A to-do stationery. I am so happy I received this! I was really planning to buy a to-do list and a planner notebok so now, I only need to buy a planner!
  • Wallet, which I think is absolutely cute because of the color and the design.
  • Girl Online On Tour by Zoe Sugg. I decided to add this one because I told myself that it’s an early Christmas gift from me.
  • Maybelline Colourshow in the shade Red My Lips.
  • Ever Bilena Pro Eyecolor.
  • Nichido Eyebrow Pencil.

That’s all I got for Christmas! How about you? What have you got this Christmas?

Please do check out my blog since I re-designed it. Tell me what you think! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you later. Bye!

Blogmas: Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone! I’m getting real emotional right now. This is the very first time I’ve tried Blogmas and I’m kinda feeling gloomy because it ends now. I’ve enjoyed the feeling of posting daily (though I didn’t really complete it) and interacting with all of you.

Before I start Blogmas, I said in a blog post that I want to have 15 posts this December but I didn’t accomplish it. It doesn’t really matter but I feel like I broke a promise so sorry!

Anyway, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas to you all!!!

I hope you’re having the best time with your family, relatives or whoever you’re with! Please make the best out of it.

And remember that you’re celebrating our Savior’s birth so don’t get melancholic! Go out and be blissful!

I won’t be posting a blog post tomorrow (Christmas Day) because I want to spend time with my family first. I guess I’ll stay away from my phone and other gadgets tomorrow!

And on the 26th, I will celebrate my first year of blogging so I thought I’d do a Q & A. Please leave questions down below!

Again, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and see you on the 26th! Bye!

PS. This is a scheduled post. Lol.

Head on to the nearest mall in your town and buy gifts because Christmas is only 3 days away!! Can you imagine?! Time has gone by so fast!

So for today’s post, I’ll share my last minute Christmas gift ideas with you all. These will all be below 30 USD or 1,500 Php.

Choosing gifts for boys are a pretty hard one! You’ll never know what they want! But below are some ideas that I thought of because men likes these ones.

That’s it! Hope this somehow helped you. I kind of rushed this post because I’m really not feeling well and my eyes hurt.

Blogmas: Why do I celebrate Christmas?

Hello, world! Christmas is approaching! 7 days left, how are you so pumped?! Haha. Anyway, another day, another blog post. I failed to post yesterday, I’m sorry! I was feeling sick. It’s too cold in our country right now. But anyway, let’s get started!
Why do I celebrate Christmas?

Is it because my family wants us to celebrate it? Is it because it’s a trend?

No, definitely no. We don’t celebrate Christmas because it’s a trend, and I don’t celebrate Christmas because my family wants to celebrate it. We celebrate Christmas to honor the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There are a lot to be thankful for and that is why we celebrate it. To give thanks, to ask forgiveness and to repent.

That is the true spirit of Christmas.

Christmas isn’t all about the new clothes, new things and so on.

For me, Christmas is all about Christ. It is to give. Give love, give forgiveness, give gifts and anything about giving without expecting something in return. Jesus died in the cross for us, He gave His life for us because He loves us. He gave his life because he thought we were worthy but all throughout, He didn’t expect anything in return. He knew we all had a choice, to choose to believe or not. And I chose to believe.

Christmas is a good season to give thanks.

That is why I celebrate Christmas.

How about you? Why do you celebrate Christmas? Whatever the reason is on why you celebrate Christmas, please don’t forget to give thanks and pray!

Sorry if this is a short one! I’m in a bit of a hurry right now. My cat wishes you Merry Christmas, though!

See you on next post!

Blogmas: Christmas Traditions

Hello and welcome to the third post of this year’s blogmas! I still have school tomorrow so this will be a short post. Let’s get started!

Since I’m Catholic and living in the Philippines, we always have this tradition to attend mass every night for 9 times. It starts at December 15 and ends at December 24. Every 24th, there are programs in the church like roleplaying the birth of Christ, singing, dancing and the night ends with a mass. If I remember correctly, the mass ends at 12 am, which is already Christmas day! The tradition to attend mass is called Simbang Gabi. And if you complete the 10 nights of Simbang Gabi, you can make a wish to God and wait for it to happen.

At 25th, as usual, we wake up, we prepare, and we go to the neighbourhood’s houses to visit everyone, literally like everyone. We’d eat there and elder people gives the children money or gifts. After we stroll around the neigbourhood, we go to my grandparent’s house and celebrate Christmas there until night. There are food, karaoke and our whole clan gathers together at my grandparent’s house.

After Christmas, 26th, we go to a certain place like malls, parks and arcades to enjoy ourselves. But usually, we go to the mall and watch a good movie (like last year). I hope we go camping somewhere else this time.

So that’s it for my Christmas Traditions! How about you? What are your Christmas Traditions? If you’ve already made a blog post about it, comment down below. I’d like to know! Anyway, thanks for dropping by. x

Blogmas: Christmas Classics TBR

Blogmas: Christmas Classics TBR

Hello everyone, I’m sorry I failed to post a blogmas yesterday. Yesterday’s been a long rough day, but I enjoyed it. We watched my cousin join a pageant yesterday and the pageant’s theme was gods and goddesses. She played the role of Aphrodite and she was stunningly beautiful. Sorry no pictures, I haven’t asked permission.
Enough of the little chat, let’s proceed to today’s blogmas!

Last week, we went to a bookstore and I saw Charles Dickens’ book, A Christmas Carol. I didn’t buy it, though, it just gave me an idea on what to read this Chritmas. So yeah, the first one is…

1. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

  • A Christmas Carol tells the story of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation into a gentler, kindlier man after visitations by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.

If I can remember correctly, I’ve watched a film of this already so it’s time now that I read the book. I’ve already purchased it in iBooks and I can’t wait to read this one.

2. The Gift Of The Magi by O. Henry

  • The Gift of the Magi is a short story by the American writer O. Henry, written and published in 1905. It takes place at Christmas time and tells the story of Jim and Della Dillingham, a poor, young married couple who don’t have enough money to buy each other Christmas gifts.

The sypnosis caught my attention, and I’ve also read other reviews that the Dillingham couple are wise in giving gifts. I want to know how the story goes so I add this to my TBR list.

3. A Visit From St. Nicholas by Clement Moore

  • On Christmas Eve night, while his wife and children sleep, a father awakens to noises outside his house. Looking out the window, he sees Santa Claus (St. Nicholas) in an air-borne sleigh pulled by eight reindeer. After landing his sleigh on the roof, the saint enters the house through the chimney, carrying a sack of toys with him. The father watches Santa filling the children’s Christmas stockings hanging by the fire, and laughs to himself. They share a conspiratorial moment before the saint bounds up the chimney again. As he flies away, Santa wishes everyone a “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.”

I didn’t know this was a poem at all. I am reluctant about adding this to this blog post because I’ve already finished it. The poem is good for children but I actually enjoyed it.

So that’s it for today’s blog post. I hope you’re doing great wherever you are. X

Blogmas: Christmas Wishlist

Blogmas: Christmas Wishlist

Welcome to this month’s mini series, blogmas. I know I’m quite late for this and I didn’t start at December 1st but I’m fine with it. I’ve scheduled some posts already so I think it wouldn’t be a hassle. (It’s not our Christmas vacation yet so… :((.) So let’s start with my wishlist! (I know I won’t get the following so I really wish for it, lol.)
1. Girl Online Going Solo

I really want this book! It’s hard to find Youtubers’ books here in the Philippines and I am not used in buying online (I don’t even know how lol) so I think I’ll just wait. Fun fact, I just bought Girl Online On Tour last week. I saw it on a bookstore so I immediately bought it.

2. Zoella Classic Collection

Honestly, any Zoella beauty range would pleasure me. THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT AVAILABLE IN OUR COUNTRY AND IT MAKES ME SAD. I want to try any Zoella beauty product so I add this to my wishlist.

3. Zoella Lifestyle

Oh, I really want these especially the stationery and the scented candles. *cries in a corner*

4. Converse

The new colors of Converse has been trending in the internet. I say that I’m actually inlove, especially with the last one on the picture. I love pastels.

5. Letters

Letters are my favourite thing to receive. It just says a lot and it is fun and somehow emotional to read. The picture above are the letters that I got last 21st of November, my 16th birthday.

So there’s it. That’s my wishlist for this year! Thank you for reading. I hope you’re having a good time wherever you are. x

Note: I do not own the pictures above except for the featured photo and the last picture.
