What I Got For My 18th Birthday!

It’s almost December, but I really wanted to share this so… hello everyone!

As most of you have read from my last post, I turned 18 last November 21 and the experience was honestly amazing. I actually never thought that I’d receive gifts from my relatives because I know that most of them would just give me cash which I’m still thankful of. So for today’s post, I want to share how my birthday went and how we celebrated it, plus, what gifts I got from my friends and family.

My morning started very well. Here’s a screenshot of what I tweeted that morning for a sum up:

I still didn’t want to go to school that day because I was sick the day before– good thing that I felt well and just needed to rest. So yeah, my mom kissed me good morning and my dad followed which seriously just made my day ever.

And so I went to school and attended my classes. My classmates and friends greeted me and some of them gave me gifts which I’ll share later. It was really fun especially when someone who’s not close to me or I don’t really know at all greets me. It was quite a long day as well and my whole presence at school, I was thinking about home and how my parents are preparing for our family dinner.

It was night already and we’re on the restaurant my dad reserved. The restaurant gave us a limit of 40 people only and those who came were 53 so it was quite amazing. The best thing ever is having my family celebrate it with me so I’m really grateful to everyone who came. My cousins and aunts and uncles and my grandmom (!!!) came so my day became extra special. We ate a very delicious dinner provided by the restaurant and WE honestly recommend them for their good service and food. The staff also sang happy birthday to me and they greeted me telling that I’m a really tall lady now. (I’m 5’5 and still wore heels that night so..)

Here’s a boomerang of my outfit!! 🙊

And now with the gifts that I got for my 18th!! Let’s go get started with this! ❤️

Please take note that there’s no way I’m bragging because the gifts are all blessings given to me.

For the first one, I’ll go with the DIY Camera that my friend (Elline) gave me.

Inside the camera are random pictures that we have. I honestly think Elline is so creative with this one because it totally looks like a camera!! She also wrote a letter and she put it inside. Aside from the DIY camera, she also gave me a little journal in which I haven’t included in the overall flatlay because it was in my desk.

Here’s how it looks, she also made the front design! I know she’ll read this anytime soon so thank you for these!

My friend gave me this jar full of quotes and motivational messages alongside the box behind this picture.

Inside the box are another box which I won’t show because it’s an explosion box full of our pictures together (haha) and 18 letters all from him!! Honestly I was only asking for a letter from anyone for my birthday and he gave me 18.

He also gave me a jacket because the weather’s really becoming Christmassy in my hometown. I doubt if he’ll ever read this because he doesn’t know my blog at all but I’m really grateful for these!! 💖

The next one I got is this Penshoppe Pink Rush for Women from my cousin and his wife. I really love the scent of this especially the lotion which I used immediately because we ran out of lotion and I went to a retreat the day after my birthday!

So my parents bought me an iPhone 8+ and I was really glad for this because I love its camera and its features. Honestly it’s almost like the same features in the iPhone X which we can’t afford because it’s WAAAY too expensive! I got the iPhone in Gold which looks so similar to Rose Gold already and I’m really happy because it’s my favourite color. I’m just really looking for its camera features and I used it for today’s posts and pictures!

So the last one I got is the Michael Kors bag from my dad’s friend and ahhh it’s just really beautiful to think that it’s my first bag as an 18 year old lady!!

Aside from these material gifts, I also got food and chocolates from my friends and cousins and do you wanna know what’s the best gift I got?

Love.

Nothing else would matter if these gifts weren’t for love so I am really, really grateful. Lastly, I’m really thankful to the Lord because he gave me the chance to wake up everyday and witness my family and friends laughing, smiling and living. There’s so much to be thankful at so let us all live happily and thankfully. ❤️

All glory is to His! Thank you so much for reading this post– I’m also thankful for you. ❤️ And I’ll see you in the next post which might be tomorrow foooor… BLOGMAS! ❤️ See you!
